Carolina Mountain Woodturners is pleased to announce the roster of demonstrators for 2020. Once again, from well known world class artists to the up and coming next generation, CMW will have something for everyone again this year. To learn more about each demonstrator, click on the links below. Each demonstrator page contains links to their websites where you can see photos of their work, learn a bit of their history.
Our demonstrators will conduct full day presentations at our Saturday meetings, covering all aspects of woodturning. They will also teach a full day class the following Sunday. The classes are small, limited to just 10 students in order to give everyone the maximum attention. Current paid up members of CMW will have the opportunity to submit their names for possible inclusion in the class. If more than 10 people sign up for the class, 10 names will be picked at random for inclusion. All classes are just $50. Either the club or the individual demonstrators will provide the necessary materials for the class and each student will be charged accordingly. However, no workshop materials will cost more than $30.
A few weeks before each demonstrator’s appearance we will provide more detailed information about their specific demo subjects. We’ll also post outlines of the Sunday class projects, along with any tool or equipment requirements.
