CNW takes over the Arrowmont campus where all classes take place
Discounted on-campus accommodations are offered and group meals provided.

Selected CMW members serve as volunteer instructors and staff.

Class Offerings and Schedule

For this year’s CMW Arrowmont Retreat, students will select their first and second choice class preference for each day during this registration process.

We will make every effort to accommodate your first choice.  In the event a class is over-subscribed, students will be selected from the list randomly.  If you are not selected, you will be given higher priority for your first-choice class the following day.

Based on your feedback about having sufficient time to finish all projects, Sunday has been reserved as a demo and open turning day.  Designed to allow students to finish projects, start a new project, or learn new skills from the instructors.  The studios will be open until 11:30 AM.

Costs

 

The retreat is a very affordable way to learn new woodturning skills

 

Facilities Fee of $100 paid to CMW online as part of this registration process, which covers the cost of the studios.

 

Material fees are generally $10.00 to $25.00 per class and are payable directly to the instructors at the retreat

Fees for accommodations and meals are payable directly to Arrowmont beginning March 10.

All participants pay $201 for Arrowmont’s meal package (9 meals), regardless of length of stay.

Participants are encouraged to stay on the Arrowmont campus Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. This year participants will have the option to stay only Thursday and Friday nights.

Evening gatherings on the porch are not to be missed!

 

Room choice is first-come-first-served. Rooming options vary; see costs below

 

On-campus housing will be in the Bill May Hall or the Red Barn.

Discounted rates per person per night are:

• Bill May Hall
  • Single with private bath - $130/night
  • Double with private bath - $85/night
• Red Barn
  • Shared bedroom/bath - $45/night
