A SEARCH FOR A NEW LOCATION FOR THE TLC IS NEAR COMPLETION AND IT IS QUITE POSSIBLE
THAT THIS CLASS WILL TAKE PLACE ELSEWHERE THAN THE CURRENT ARDEN LOCATION.
THE REGISTRATION PROCESS AND ALL CLASS DETAILS WOULD REMAIN THE SAME.
REGISTRANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF A NEW LOCATION IN THE AREA AND EVENT INFO UPDATED.

About the Class

Double Walled Ornaments and 3 Corner Bowls…Hands On Turning and
Embellishment Class


The Double Walled ornaments can be done by any turner with confidence of basic
spindle turning techniques. Painting or carving experience will allow you to tackle more
complex designs but is not necessary. Suggested tools you might want to bring (The TLC also has these for class use):
Spindle gouge, Skew, Forstner bits and Jacobs chuck

The Three Corner Bowl requires strong, intermediate bowl turning technique. Suggested tool you might want to bring (The TLC also has these for class use): Bowl gouge





About the Artist



Biography


Ed Siegel has been a woodturner for over forty years and creates most of his work from
“found”, local woods.

Originally from New York State, Ed and his wife recently relocated to Greensboro, North
Carolina.

Ed enjoys demonstrating and teaching woodturning, and has won numerous awards,
including several blue ribbons, for turning and carving at the Great New York State fair.

Registration cancellations will be accepted until Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 12:00 PM
Cancellation Policy:
In the event you cancel your registration before the cutoff, 100% of your payment will be credited to your member account. This credit may be used for any future club purpose. Cancellation after the cutoff will not be credited unless a member moves off the waitlist. No credit will provided for a “no-show”.
